An interesting Palestine Arab Revolt, Second World War North Africa service and Long Service and Good Conduct Medal group awarded to Corporal S. Hards, 68th Company, Royal Army Service Corps who had served with the Fascist sympathiser and noted traitor Private Theodore John William Schurch who was later hanged for treason at Pentonville on 4th January 1946 by Albert Pierrepoint for on at least 9 occasions handing over intelligence to the enemy from fellow ‘Prisoners of War’.

Corporal (No. T/36690) S. Hards, Royal Army Service Corps saw service in Palestine during the Arab Rebellion being present with 68th Company, Royal Army Service Corps during the campaign, and would later see Second World War service in North Africa, and surviving the war died in London on 2nd March 1962.
During his time with 68th Company, Royal Army Service Corps he would serve alongside Private Theodore John William Schurch, a fascist sympathiser and notable traitor, who would later be hung for treason on 4th January 1946 for on 9 separate occasions providing information to the enemy from captured Prisoners of War and later being hung by Albert Pierrepoint the day after William Joyce had been hung a Pentonville.
