An interesting Iraq Rebellion casualty family group awarded to the Musk Family from Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. Bombardier Hector Musk, 96th Battery, 19th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery would see service during the Great War where he landed at Gallipoli from 25th October 1915 and would later go on to see service in Mesopotamia during the Iraq Rebellion where he would become a casualty, being killed in action on 15th August 1920. Having no known grave he is remembered on the Basra Memorial. His brother Driver H.J. Musk, 25th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery would see service on the Western Front from 16th August 1914 and would go on to see service in Mesopotamia during the Iraq Rebellion. He would later be awarded the Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in Army Order 357 of 1927 before seeing service at home during the Second World War.

Hector Musk saw service as a Bombardier (No. 50506) with the Royal Field Artillery at Gallipoli from 25th October 1915 and would later go on to see service in Mesopotamia during the Iraq rebellion which lasted from 10th December 1919 and would eventually end on 17th November 1920. However, Hector was sadly a casualty of the conflict being killed in action on 15th August 1920 whilst serving with 96th Battery, 19th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Having no known grave he is remembered on the Basra Memorial. He is noted as the son of Mrs James Musk of Stanningfield Green, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.

He would be awarded the Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal in Army Order 357 of 1927, before going on to see service at home during the Second World War.
