An impressive Officer of the Order of St John and British Empire Medal group of six to Sergeant Kenneth Wilce Campbell, West Mercia Constabulary, who was awarded the British Empire Medal on the occasion of the Celebration of Her Majesty’s Silver Jubilee and Birthday.

British Empire Medal London Gazette 11 June 1977. THE QUEEN has been graciously pleased, on the occasion of the Celebration of Her Majesty's Silver Jubilee and Birthday, to approve the award of the British Empire Medal (Civil Division) to the undermentioned.
Kenneth Wilce Campbell was born on 28 October 1926 and served in the Royal Navy in the latter stages of WW2. Later joining the West Mercia Police, he was awarded the British Empire Medal on the occasion of the Celebration of Her Majesty’s Silver Jubilee and Birthday. Appointed a Serving Brother of the Order of St John three years earlier (London Gazette 29 November 1974), he went on to receive both the Police and St John Long Service Medals in addition to being appointed an Officer in the Order of St. John.
Campbell lived latterly at Brook House, Waterloo Road, Kington, Herefordshire and died in 2010.
