Henry James Page was born in the Parish of St. Giles, London, and enlisted into the Royal Marines on 7 Sept 1887. He joined the crew of H.M.S. Conquest on 16 Feb 1889 and served aboard this ship until his discharge on 2 May 1891 and was present on the Witu operations of 1890.
Having enrolled into the Royal Fleet Reserve on 24 July, 1909, and following Great War service, was demobilised in 1919.
