An early repatriated Dunkirk Prisoner of War Indian North West Frontier Red Shirt Rebellion and Mohmand Operations group awarded to Signalman H. Walker, 1st Divisional Signals, Royal Corps of Signals who having seen service on the North West Frontier in the period from 23rd April 1930 to 22nd March 1931 and during the Mohmand operations which lasted from 28th July to 3rd October 1933. He would see service during the Defence of France in 1940 being taken Prisoner of War at the fall of Dunkirk, later being noted as wounded, he would be repatriated on 9th November 1943.

Signalman (No. 2318803) H. Walker, Royal Signals saw service during the Red Shirt Rebellion on the North West Frontier in the period from 23rd April 1930 to 22nd March 1931, and later went on to see service during the Mohmand operations which lasted from 28th July to 3rd October 1933.
Later seeing service during the Second World War he would take part in the Defence of France in 1940, and would be declared missing on 24th June 1940 after the withdrawal from Dunkirk. Later noted as Prisoner of War, and wounded in Casualty List No. 809 of 28th April 1942, he would receive early repatriation when he was returned to the UK on 9th November 1943. He is noted as having served with 1 Divisional Signals, Royal Corps of Signals during the Second World War.
