An attractive and decorative Great War period glazed brooch containing and portrait photograph of a Royal Flying Corps officer pilot in the obverse; the reverse also glazed and containing a photograph of a woman -presumably his wife. Set in an 9ct gold scrolled frame 54mm x 44mm with horizontal pin fitting to the reverse and added loop for the attachment of a safety chain.
