A WW2 Mk II British Paratrooper Helmet, the liner marked BMB for Briggs Motor Bodies, with indistinct size and date, complete with webbing chin strap, wartime paintwork and post-war painted regimental flash with number 81. Internal top pad present but loose, with 49 painted on inner rim and ‘J. D. Wilson’ written in ink on the leather sweatband. The exterior with dent paint loss to top.
Condition. This helmet has had a fair amount of service wear in its lifetime.
