A Western Front casualty 1914-1915 Star trio awarded to Saddler Corporal C.H. Gilbert, 10th Hussars who having served on the Western Front from 1st January 1915 died of wounds on 9th March 1918 being buried in Tertry Communal Cemetery.

Charles H. Gilbert saw service as a Saddler Corporal (No. 47054) and later Corporal with the 10th Hussars in France from 1st January 1915. He died of wounds on 9th March 1918 and us buried in Tertry Communal Cemetery. He is noted as the Alice Gilbert of 19 Buckingham Place, Brighton, Sussex.
