A selection of three gelatine silver print photographs, two from the unveiling of the Memorial to the Officers and Men of the British Army and Royal Navy who gave their lives during the Zulu War in South Africa in 1879. Two images, one showing the Memorial and inscribed in ink: ‘Statue erected to officers and men who fell in the Zulu war.’, and another showing the crowd who had gathered from the unveiling, another separated image, as cut from the same album and pasted onto the reverse side, shows a possible native woman in European dress when in South Africa and walking down a tree lined road. Three images in all.
