Along with letter addressed to Edwin Parsons, 50 Coleshill Road, Sutton Coldfield, from the Chief Constable’s Office, Newton Street, Birmingham and dated 24th May 1948 accepting his recognition from the Special Constabulary Reserve and thinking him for the large number of duties he had performed since October 1941 and to say how much the assistance afforded to the Police on the “C” Division has been appreciated.
