A rare WW1 ‘Tommy Touch Wud’ good luck charm in the form of a smiley wooden head with red paste glass eyes, the reverse embossed with the ’TOUCH WUD’ Trade marks, mounted above a silver body with one raised arm and thumb up, the reverse embossed ‘Reg 83139 Silver’. 28mm x 15mm, complete with integral loop and ring suspension.

‘Touch Wud’ charms came about in the first year of the First World War and were given to servicemen as good luck charms and to help with morale.
