Oscar Robertson of Bayswater, London, attested for service with the Corps of Dragoons of the Line on 18 November 1898. He served in South Africa from 8 June 1900 until 29 August 1901 and was placed on Army Reserve on 17 November 1910 having completed a twelve year term of enlistment. This confirmed as his sole entitlement.
