A scarce combination of awards consisting of South Africa Third Kaffir War, Indian Mutiny and China Second Opium War capture of the Taku Forts and capture of Pekin group of three awarded to Private J. Lalor, 2nd Battalion, 60th Royal Rifles who would see service in the Third Kaffir War between 1850 and 1853 in South Africa and would later service in both India during the Indian Mutiny and China during the Second Opium War, being present at the capture of the Taku Forts on 21st August 1860, and the capture of Pekin shortly afterwards.
