Condition. Light contact wear, Very Fine.
John Trimby was born in East Pennard, Somerset, in 1817 and enlisted into the Royal Marines in 1848. He served aboard H.M.S. Powerful during the operations off the Syrian Coast in 1840 and the last ship he served aboard prior to his discharge was H.M.S. Nile. He died at Melville Hospital on 24 Sept 1860.
