A Metropolitan Police Chief Inspector’s Coronation Medal 1902 and Coronation Medal 1911 pair awarded to Chief Inspector George Tribe, who joined as a Police Constable on 24th February 1902 at ‘E’ Division at Holborn, and was pensioned as a Chief Inspector on 10th September 1928 from ‘J’ Division at Bethnal Green.

George Tribe joined the police on 24th February 1902 as a Police Constable (Warrant Number 88285) with ‘E’ Division at Holborn and was serving as a Police Constable there when awarded the Coronation Medal 1902, he was serving as a Police Sergeant at the time of the 1911 Coronation, and retired as a Chief Inspector on 10th September 1928 by which time he was serving at ‘J’ Division at Bethnal Green.
