A long service award of the Order of the Red Banner awarded to Colonel Arkadij Vasilievich Tselischev, the Deputy Group Chief of the Flight Training Department of the Airborne Forces who saw at least 25 years service in the Red Army and took part in operations against both Germany and Japan.
Order of the Red Banner, type 4, mint mark across the two lines indicating the award was made in 1950-51, reverse numbered 339829.

Arkadij Vasilievich Tselischev was born in the village of Bolshye Gari, Orichi District, Kirov region in 1902. Having attained a secondary education he would join the Red Army in October 1929, and then continued to serve through the Great Patriotic War and beyond.
Tselischev would be awarded an Order of the Red Star for 15 years long service in the first batch of such awards on 3rd November 1944, this Order of the Red Banner for 20 years long service on 15th November 1944 and an Order of Lenin for 25 years long service on 5th November 1954.
The final award was made at a time Tselischev was the Deputy Group Chief of the Flight Training Department of the Airborne Forces and was living in Moscow.
He would also receive a Medal for Victory over Germany, the Medal for Victory over Japan and a Medal for 30 Years of the Soviet Army and Navy.
