A Great War Western Front 1914-1915 Star trio and Liverpool City Police Medal for Good Service in Bronze and Silver pair awarded to Private G.S. Bailey, 2nd Dragoon Guards (Queen’s Bays) who saw service on the Western Front from 29th September 1915. Surviving the war he would be discharged to Class Z Reserve. He would later serve as a Constable with the Liverpool City Police, earning a Bronze Medal for Good Service on 25th August 1939, and serving during the Second World War, would be awarded the Silver Medal for Good Service on 25th June 1944

Liverpool City Police Medal for Good Service in Bronze, complete with original ribbon and top brooch pin, rim engraved (CON:1617”H” GEORGE LAWRENCE BAILEY) and the reverse engraved ‘Presented by Watch Committee 25th AUG 1939’. Liverpool City Police Medal for Good Service in Silver, complete with original ribbon and top brooch pin, the reverse engraved ‘Present by Watch Committee to Con. 176.D. G.L. Bailey, 25-6-44.’ The first three mounted as worn.
