Together with an official War Office letter, dated 3rd Jan 1918, addressed to Mrs E. A. Fells of 66 Edmonston Road, Stratford, E15, forewing the ID disc of ‘the late No. 373923 Lance Corporal J. G. Fells, 1/8th Bn City of London, London Regiment, received from Germany’.
James George Fells was killed in action on 1st December 1915 and is commemorated on the Cambrai memorial, Louverval, France. He was 25 years of age and lived at 7 Ash Road, Stratford.
