A Great War 1914 Old Contemptible’s trio awarded to Corporal R. Hall, 1st Battalion, Rifle Brigade, who was present out on the Western Front from 15th September 1914, and later transferred to the Labour Corps.

Group of 3: 1914 Star with Clasp; (793 PTE R. HALL. 1/RIF:BRIG.); British War Medal and Victory Medal; (793 CPL. R. HALL. RIF.BRIG.), mounted swing style as worn.

Condition: slightly polished, Very Fine.

Ralph Hall was a pre-war regular soldier who saw service during the Great War as a Rifleman later Corporal (No.793) with the 1st Battalion, Rifle Brigade, and was present out on the Western Front with the British Expeditionary Force from 15th September 1914. Hall subsequently transferred as a Corporal to the Labour Corps and claimed his Clasp and Roses to the 1914 Star on 14th February 1920.
