A Framed and Glazed first day of the Battle of Loos casualty group awarded to Private C. Elson, 8th Battalion, Devonshire Regiment who saw service on the Western Front from 25th July 1915 and who was killed in action on 25th September 1915. Having no known grave he is now remembered on the Loos Memorial.
