A fine Waterloo Medal 1815 with original steel clip and ring suspension and with original ribbon awarded to Private Thomas Surrey, 2nd Battalion, Coldstream Guards who was present at the Battle of Waterloo on 18th June 1815 where he served with Lt. Colonel Sir R. Arbuthnot’s Company during the battle when this company, the 7th Company, together with the 8th Company, remained defending the ridge against the French attacks.
