A fine Second World War period Liverpool City Police Medal for Good Service in Bronze and in Silver pair, awarded to Sergeant Albert Badger, Liverpool City Police, who was on service during the Second World War when he was twice awarded the Liverpool City Police Medal for Good Service, receiving the Bronze Medal from the Watch Committee on 5th September 1939,, and the Silver Medal from the Watch Committee on 5th September 1944.
Pair: Liverpool City Police Medal for Good Service in Bronze, complete with original ribbon and top brooch pin - however pin now missing, rim engraved; (SGT. 2. ”A” ALBERT BADGER.), reverse engraved: ‘Presented by Watch Committee 5th: Sept: 1939’; Liverpool City Police Medal for Good Service in Silver, hallmarked, complete with original ribbon and top brooch pin, reverse engraved: ‘Presented by Watch Committee to SGT. 2.A. A. BADGER 5-9-44’.
Condition: wearing pin to reverse of first now missing, otherwise Good Very Fine.
