The Medal of Sisowath I (crowned 1904 - died 1927) was established on 1 Jan 1925. It was made with sensitivity to the Cambodian tradition, using the Khmer crown in the suspension and Khmer script on the obverse. It was awarded for service to the King and came in three grades: gold, silver and bronze.
